What is onboarding

Onboarding refers to the process of welcoming a new employee to an organization. This often includes administrative tasks such as filling out paperwork, figuring out the necessary equipment and access to systems, and giving a general introduction to the organization. The purpose of onboarding is to ensure that the new employee feels welcome and is quickly integrated into the organization

What is working-in

Induction, on the other hand, refers to the process by which a new employee is trained to perform his or her duties effectively. This often includes explaining the organization’s specific processes and procedures, training the new employee in the required skills, and providing feedback and support to ensure that the new employee can be successful in his or her role

Onboarding is strategy, working-in is practice

In short, onboarding is more focused on general introduction to the organization and creating a sense of belonging, while onboarding is focused on training the new employee in the specific duties and responsibilities associated with the position. However, both processes are important for successfully integrating a new employee into an organization

Some parties prefer working-in
